My background

With over 19 years of experience in the field of judicial investigations, I bring a wealth of expertise, professionalism, and dedication to my role as co-founder and trainer at Watson . My career began as a commissioner with the Belgian Federal Judicial Police, where I led numerous complex investigations and developed the crucial skills of precision and analytical insight. During these years, I discovered the importance of accuracy and attention to detail, both in operational execution and in training colleagues. In addition to my operational duties, I also taught, passing on my knowledge and experience to others and supporting their professional development.

Transition to the European Institutions

After my years with the Federal Police, I joined EUROPOL, where I further expanded my expertise in combating international organized crime, with a particular focus on counterfeiting. At Europol, I learned how to analyze vast amounts of data and uncover hidden connections, which brought a new level of precision to my work. The work required not only analytical acuity but also the ability to make complex insights accessible to international teams, with collaboration and a shared commitment to common goals at its core. Currently, I lead the internal investigation team at a leading European institution, where I ensure integrity and accountability within the organization. Here, I combine my broad experience in the operational and procedural aspects of investigations with my psychological insights, which further strengthen the investigative process.

In addition to my operational work, training others has always been a key part of my career. I have both provided training and participated in advanced training programs for law enforcement professionals across Europe, from the Belgian Federal Police to other European law enforcement organizations.
